Tessy King is an artist working primarily with ceramics, known for her use of colour, layered surfaces, and sculptural sensibility, her work explores the tension between ornament and function. A graduate of RMIT’s Fine Art program with First Class Honours (2016), King brings a distinctly contemporary voice to ceramic practice.
This collection, exhibited at Braer Studio, features a series of hand-built glazed stoneware forms with lustrous finishes. Compact in scale yet rich in surface detail, the works invite intimate engagement—each one a small gesture of play, intuition, and material curiosity.
